Vendavo COVID-19 Readiness

Bruno Slosse< Bruno Slosse March 13, 2020

As COVID-19 creates an unprecedented impact to both our lives and workplaces, Vendavo is closely monitoring the situation with guidance from many external organizations, including the World Health Organization, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, and many other local and regional healthcare agencies.

Vendavo is taking the following steps to ensure the safety of our employees and business continuity for our customers:

Creation of COVID-19 Task Force

As the situation is a very fluid event, we have created a COVID-19 task force that meets 3x weekly and is comprised of our senior executives across all major business functions. This enables us to achieve better global visibility and support quick decision making to ensure the welfare of our employees and the continuity our business operations.

Health and Safety of our Employees

The health and safety of our employees is a top concern for Vendavo and, as a result, we have instituted the following:

  • Increased the sanitization and cleanliness of all office facilities
  • Limited all nonessential business travel
  • Encouraged all employees to work from home

Vendavo Offices and Customer Support

All offices currently remain open and are prepared to address any changing conditions that would impact business operations regionally and locally. To reduce human density, we have encouraged all employees to work from home. Given our nature as a software and technology company, Vendavo has always made substantial investments in infrastructure that enables and supports virtual working environments. As a result, we are highly confident that all customer support operations will continue without disruption.

Vendavo Data Centers

Vendavo uses multiple commercial cloud providers located across different geographies providing redundancies to ensure that we provide committed levels of service availability. In addition to dedicated employees, we have strong virtual management and monitoring capabilities across all cloud services operations, and therefore, expect no foreseeable disruption in our ability to meet service level agreements.

Vendavo Security Operations

As a result of COVID-19, the Vendavo Security Operations team is on high alert and monitoring operations 24×7. While we always strive to prevent security-related incidents, if they do happen our deployment architecture is designed to limit the scope and disruption of such incidents by means of service partitioning and isolation. We continuously monitor our systems through automated tooling, enabling faster incident detection and response should such need arise.

Vendavo Events and Workshops

We have cancelled our Vendavo Business Forum event originally scheduled for May 2020. We are actively exploring virtual event alternatives and will communicate more details shortly. We remain in close contact with various industry events and will update the corporate event page as new information is received.

Ongoing Communications and Updates

We will utilize our corporate blog to provide additional updates and communications related to COVID-19. Should you have a specific question, please contact your Vendavo representative or send your question to info@vendavo.com.

We encourage everyone to stay safe and vigilant during these turbulent times. We remain committed to working closely with all customers to ensure that Vendavo solutions continue to support your business needs.
