I think that we can safely say that B2B commerce has gone digital. More than ever, B2B buyers are searching for that “Amazon like” customer experience. However, enterprise businesses still struggle to deliver the seamless B2B sales interaction their customers demand.

 

Research from Salesforce shows: “Eighty-two percent of business buyers want the same experience as when they’re buying for themselves. But only 27% say companies generally excel at meeting their standards for an overall B2B experience, signaling ample room to improve.”

 

Enterprise executives may feel like they have fallen behind on their digital transformation initiatives; especially amid a pandemic that has even further forced acceleration toward a digital economy. But completely transitioning into the digital economy of today is not quite as easy as flipping a switch.
