Patrick D. Quirk
President & Chief Executive Officer
Patrick D. Quirk is a visionary business leader who has brought phenomenal success to multiple top technology companies. He brings more than 25 years in enterprise software to Vendavo, including extensive experience in yield management and profit optimization. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of Achievers, leading the company to double-digit growth and global expansion. The Wisconsin native, now a Bay Area resident of 30 years, has a track record of repeatedly building and expanding companies through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions to deliver the best value for customers. Before Achievers, Quirk served as CEO of Emptoris, where he strengthened the company’s foothold in strategic supply management and enterprise contract management solutions with successful acquisitions of Rivermine and Xcitec, and more than doubled revenue in the process. At PeopleSoft, Patrick helmed the $1.7-billion acquisition of JD Edwards—the largest software acquisition in ERP history at the time. He also served on the board of Plex Systems for five years and helped negotiate its sale to Francisco Partners. Patrick holds a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Christine Russell is an experienced financial executive with more than 25 years’ diverse experience in technology businesses in the Silicon Valley. Most recently, she was CFO at EAG, a global provider of analytical testing for technology firms serving more than 3,000 companies across 50 countries. Prior to EAG, Christine held executive leadership positions at Virage Logic, Outerbay Technologies (HP), Ceva, and Cygnus Solutions (Red Hat), as well as senior financial positions at Xerox and Measurex (Honeywell). Under her leadership, Silicon Valley firms Persistence Software and Valence Technology completed successful IPOs. Christine serves as Audit Committee Chair and Director for QuickLogic Corporation and is a leading member of financial and corporate governance organizations such as Financial Executives International and Silicon Valley Directors Exchange. Christine holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Santa Clara.
Joe Boissy is a veteran marketer with more than 20 years of experience in high-tech public and private companies. Over the course of his career, he has repeatedly built world-class marketing organizations and taken many leading products to market. Most recently, he was Chief Marketing Officer at 3VR, a video data and analytics company, where he led the company to the forefront of the video intelligence sector as a pioneer of video analytics for Big Data. Prior to 3VR, Joe was Vice President of Marketing for ILOG and took the company to a double-digit growth, which led to its acquisition by IBM, where he then ran the Go-to-Market Strategy for the WebSphere Division. Earlier in his career, he served in various management positions at SunGard Data Systems and Infinity Financial Software in the U.S. and Europe. Joe holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science and Data Analytics from the University of Paris-Orsay.
Senior Vice President, Global Sales
Mike Hoffman joins Vendavo with more than 20 years of experience developing and deploying sales and marketing best practices across a variety of technology companies. Prior to joining Vendavo, Mike was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Mxi Technologies and President and Founder of inSelligent. Previously, Mike was Global Vice President of Sales Field Operations at NICE Systems where he was instrumental in driving run rates from $400 million per year to $800 million per year over a three-year span. Prior to NICE, Mike held global sales management roles at Witness Systems and was Vice President of Europe and Asia Sales & Development at Parametric Technology Corporation, where he spent six years and played a key role in the successful launch of the company’s Windchill solution. Mike is an operating partner at Francisco Partners.
Senior Vice President, Global Solutions Delivery
Mark Anderson brings more than 20 years of experience in the enterprise software industry with consulting practice leadership roles at SAP, Comergent and Sterling Commerce. Over this period, he specialized in B2B CRM solutions and provided program expertise and leadership to medium sized companies as well as Fortune 500 global enterprises. With management experience at both emerging and large software companies, Mark brings a unique blend of leadership expertise to Vendavo. In addition, he worked as an Industrial Engineer at Eastman Kodak. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska and an M.B.A. from the Simon School of Business.
Senior Vice President, Engineering
Ravi Mirchandaney brings more than 20 years of experience in the software business to Vendavo. Previously, he was Senior Vice-President of Engineering at C3 Energy, a SaaS Grid Analytics software provider. Prior to C3, he held the position of Group Vice-President of Engineering at Oracle, focused on CRM, and before that, Ravi was Vice-President of Engineering at Siebel Systems. He has held research positions at Yale University and Shell Oil Research Labs in addition to being the author of more than 25 technical papers and patents in fields of parallel, distributed systems and databases. Ravi holds a Ph.D in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, with a focus on distributed systems.
Vice President, Human Resources
Dani Chehak serves as Vice President of Human Resources for Vendavo. In this role she is responsible for global human resources operations, including talent acquisition and management, compensate and equity, workforce planning and organizational development. Dani has 20 years of experience leading human resources in high-growth global organizations such as PGP Corporation (acquired by Symantec), Apple Computers and Pets.com. Dani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Linfield College.
Vice President, Product Management
Bala Tiru has more than 20 years of leadership experience in enterprise software development, product management and IT management spanning Internet, banking, telecom and service industries. Bala has been with Vendavo since 2010, initially with Global Services Delivery and then with enterprise product management. Prior to his current position, Bala led Enterprise Product Management team and delivered successful product releases and new product launches. He brings vast technology, product expertise and services learnings to enhance and expand Vendavo enterprise and hybrid product offerings that increase market adoption. Prior to Vendavo, Bala led product management at 2Wire and delivered industry-leading solutions that catapulted 2Wire from a startup to a large corporation. Pace Inc eventually acquired 2Wire. He also held technology positions at Lycos Inc. and Dresdner Bank. Bala holds an M.S. In Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University, Virginia, and an M.B.A from Santa Clara University.
