Vendavo Receives “Positive” Rating in Leading Analyst Firm’s MarketScope For Price Optimization and Management Software for B2B

Palo Alto, Calif. – August 12, 2009 – Vendavo®, the leading provider of business-to-business price management and optimization solutions, announced today that it received a “Positive” rating from Gartner in the report, “MarketScope for Price Optimization and Management Software for B2B.” The report, which was published July 31, 2009, evaluates vendors across a number of criteria including overall viability, product and services, customer experience and product strategy.

Gartner notes that the price optimization and management market continues to expand “despite poor economic conditions, largely due to growing recognition of the potential value such applications pose in helping companies defend margins and revenue, and realize efficiencies with pricing processes.” Gartner further concludes that the, “potential for this market is considerable because defining and defending optimal prices is a fundamental imperative for enterprises that are responsible for producing returns for stakeholders.”
