Product Manager

(Title up to Director, commensurate with experience)

Job Description:

• Full-lifecycle product management for core portions of Vendavo's Enterprise Pricing Suite
• Interact with partners, analysts, customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to set strategy, define priorities, and detail product requirements
• Partner closely with the Engineering organization to bring that vision to life in well designed, built, tested, and documented products
• Create compelling product marketing materials, including demonstrations, presentations, and whitepapers and deliver to analysts, prospects, and customers
• Empower our Sales and Global Solutions organizations to sell and service, respectively, these offerings to many of the world's leading business-to-business companies, and build long-term relationships with those customers to ensure their success
• Reports to SVP, Product Management

Background:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on product management experience in enterprise applications ideally focused on data mining/analytics/visualization, workflow/business process management, or quote/contract management
• Field experience in software implementation or business consulting strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in business or computer science; advance degree in related field preferable

Skills:

• Fundamental understanding of the use of enterprise applications in a business environment
• Knowledge of software design principles, software design standards, and J2EE and web-based technologies
• Deep familiarity with all aspects of the software development and release process
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Polished and compelling presenter
